Barbara "Barb" A. Kluetz

June 8, 1948 — August 31, 2025

Weston

Barbara A. Kluetz, age 77, of Weston, left the earth on her eternal journey surrounded and held by her two devoted loving daughters and her cherished loving grandchildren on August 31, 2025 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

Barbara was born on June 8, 1948, in Wausau, Wisconsin, to William and Alma (Tafelski) Bresnahan. She graduated from Wausau High School in 1966 and, on August 10 of that same year, married the love of her life, Thomas Kluetz, in Pine City, Minnesota.

Barb worked as a waitress for many years, known for her warm smile and caring nature. In 1985, she and Tom became the proud owners of the Sunset Bar, where they created a friendly and welcoming place for the community. After selling the bar, they moved to Mosinee, and following Tom's passing in 2016, Barb made her home in Weston.

Barb always had a smile on her face. She loved life, her family, a party, or a night out for dinner. She was a people person who could take a one-minute encounter and turn it into a full-blown conversation with anyone at any time. Barb was the best cook and her ability to decorate every house she lived in to make it a home was beyond amazing. Christmas decorating was one her favorite things to do, she would spend days on end making sure everything was perfect. The love she had for her daughters and grandchildren was just who she was and how she lived. Barb just loved her entire family with her whole heart. If you met her, you knew and loved her- everyone did.

Barb had a deep love for simple joys-doing puzzles, tending to flowers, and spending time with her family. Family was the heart of her life, and she always put the needs of others before her own. She will be remembered for her incredible kindness, her generosity, and her unwavering devotion to those she loved.

She is survived by her daughters, Lori (Bruce) Weber of Tomahawk and Jodi Kluetz of Weston; grandchildren, Kyle Kluetz, Kelsey (Ronald) Adams, and Riley Bleier; great-grandchildren, Paisley, Nova, and Reagan Adams; brothers, Michael (Betty) Bresnahan and Rory (Lynn) Bresnahan; sisters-in-law, Linda Bresnahan and Linda Krebsbach; many beloved nieces and nephews; and grand fur babies, Bentley, Oakley, and Jax.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Tom; and brothers, William and James Bresnahan.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 22, 2025, at Brainard Funeral Home in Weston, with Rev. Wes Jedras officiating. Burial will follow at Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 21, and again on Monday one hour prior to the service, all at Brainard Funeral Home in Weston.

Barb's life was a testament to love, compassion, and family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
