Benjamin Burton Zastrow

Benjamin Burton Zastrow, age 39, of Rothschild, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 23, 2026. He was born on September 27, 1986, in Wausau, WI, and was the proud father of his son, Logan, who was the center of his world and his best friend.

Ben was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved spending time outdoors. Whether he was in the woods or out on the water, those were the moments he enjoyed most. He shared many of those experiences with Logan, creating memories that will be cherished forever.

He is survived by his son, Logan Zastrow; his parents, Duane Zastrow and Laura Connell; and his brother, Steven Zastrow. He is also survived by many friends, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his older brother, Jesse Zastrow, and his grandparents on both his mother’s and father’s side.

Per Ben’s wishes, no public funeral will be held. Instead, there will be a small private family gathering.
