Bradley "Brad" Goessl

June 6, 1964 - March 16, 2026

Bradley Goessl, age 61, was taken to our Lord and Savior on March 16, 2026.

Brad was born on June 6, 1964, in Marshfield, Wisconsin, to Robert and Mary Goessl. A graduate of Medford High School, he went on to earn a degree in Police Science from Northcentral Technical College. Brad began his career serving his community as a Sheriff's Deputy for Vilas County before transitioning into his lifelong passion for building. For 30 years, he was a dedicated general contractor and an award-winning builder and dealer for Wisconsin Homes.

On June 22, 1996, Brad married Holly Hintze in Wausau, Wisconsin. Together, they shared a life full of adventure, with their favorite memories being the many cruises they took together, where Brad loved exploring new environments, trying different foods, and meeting new people.

An active member of his community, Brad was a proud member of the Wausau Elks Lodge #248. He was always the first to step forward to help with charity events, and he especially cherished playing Santa for the Elks' Good Fellowship program, delivering gifts to children during the holidays. Brad also served as an assistant curling coach and worked with the Little Rice Volunteer Fire Department.

An avid hunter and fisherman, Brad found great joy in the outdoors. He was also a enthusiastic card player who never turned down a game of poker, blackjack, or cribbage with friends.

Brad is survived by his loving wife, Holly; his mother, Mary J. Goessl; his sister, Mary Beth Bixby (Wayne); and his brothers, Mark Goessl (Kathy) and Michael Goessl (Mary), nieces and nephews: Laura, Adam, Chelsea, Lindsey, Jacqueline, Jonathon, Jacob, and Jordan and several grand nieces and nephews. He is further survived by brother-in-law, Herbert O. Hintze (Rose); sister-in-law, Haley Hintze; niece, Jessi Drill (David); nephew, Christopher.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Goessl; his sister, Mary Michelle "Shelly" Goessl; his grandparents; several aunts and uncles; and his in-law, Herbert and Alice Hintze.
