Bruce Graveen, 69, of Schofield, passed away suddenly on Saturday, March 16, 2024.
Bruce was born January 12, 1955, in Wausau to parents Martin and Carol (Schultz) Graveen. He married Jill Kaetterhenry on November 15, 1986, in Wausau. He enjoyed being outside while cleaning his car, cooking and grilling while having a beer. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren. They always held a special spot in his heart.
He is survived by his wife, Jill Graveen; children, Sarah Graveen and Dave Graveen; grandchildren, Mariah Nordhaus, Lily Nordhaus, and Braxton Graveen along with Aubree and Braydyn. He is further survived by his brother, Tom (Elaine) Graveen, Bob (Wanda) Graveen; and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Marlyne (Emmanuel) Yesse; and niece, Dixie Yesse.
A funeral service will be held Friday, March 22, 2024, at 1:00 pm at Brainard Funeral Home- Wausau Chapel, 522 Adams Street, Wausau with a visitation beginning at 12:00 noon. He will be laid to Restlawn Memorial Park.
Our family wishes to thank the EMT's who worked tirelessly on him and the Aspirus ER staff who took exceptional care of him. We want to especially thank Lexi, from Everest Metro, for her care and compassion.
