Clifton Guy Jones

Born in Norco, California on October 22, 1954 and went to be with the Lord on April 13, 2026. Guy was 71 years old.

Greeting Guy in Heaven are Parents Clifton M Jones & Darla M Horine. Brother Larry Jones. Wife Karen who lost her battle to cancer.

He leaves behind a daughter Desirae Jones & Zac of Mesa, Arizona. Son Cody Jones Ahwatukee, Arizona Grandchildren Mckayla, Evan, Axton, Emma, all residing in Arizona. Sister Janet Lawrence & Charles Birnamwood, Wisconsin. Nephews-Gregory Lawrence & Holly Wausau, Wisconsin. Timmy Davis, Kyle Jones, Sonny Jones, Mississippi. Nieces-Melissa Ramsey & Jody Weston, Wisconsin, Christy Jones Residing in Bloomington, California. Many great nephews and nieces. His first wife Jean Linaburg Swan who remained his friend until the end.

Guy was an explorer and loved to fish. He went to High School at Eisenhower High School, Rialto, CA. He served in the Army in 1972-1975.

Following his father's trade of hanging drywall and a wondering spirit he moved to La Grande, Oregon where he put down roots for over two decades making many great friends! He then moved on to Arizona so he could be closer to his adult children and grandchildren.

Last May he suffered a stroke leaving him paralyzed on his right side but he kept fighting to live and in October moved a final time to live with his sister in Wisconsin. He received services from Aspirus at Home. Thank you Lynn, Diane and Connie for your support during Guy's time of need. You became part of his family.

Guy passed away at Compassus House of the Doves, Marshfield, Wisconsin. A special thank you to all the nurses who showed him kindness and compassion his final 3 days on earth. Kristin, Keri, Carmen and Beth will always have a special place in our hearts. You were all Godsends for a time such as this!

Cremation will be at Brainard/Helke Funeral Home Weston. Funeral at Restoration Church Birnamwood, Wisconsin. Pastor Joshua Weix, our Pastor, Shepherd and Friend will conduct the service at a date to be determined. Guy's ashes will be laid to rest along side his late wife, Karen and Father Cliff Jones in La Grande, Oregon by his daughter Desirae and friend Chipper.
