Erica G McCollough

Erica McCollough, of Weston, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2025, at the age of 91. 

Born on March 25, 1934, in Nuremberg, Germany, to Rudolf Greul and Margarete Roseanne Schlosser, Erica married Frank J. McCollough, an officer in the United States Military, while still in Germany. In 1955, the couple immigrated to the United States, where they began their new life together. Before settling in the Wausau, Wisconsin area in 1978, Erica and her family lived in several places, including Davenport, Iowa; Washington, Illinois; Decatur, Illinois; and Berwyn, Illinois. Erica was a devoted wife, a caring mother, and a cherished friend to many. 

She is survived by her children: Edward J., Frank R., William J. (Jacqueline), and Laura E. (Terry Bellanca). She is also remembered fondly by her grandchildren, who brought her immense joy. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frank J. McCollough; her parents; and her daughter, Kimberly A. 

Erica’s warmth, kindness, and vibrant spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy lives on in the memories she created and the love she shared. A private family service will be held at a later date in St. Charles, MO.
