Eunice L. Bauer

Eunice Bauer, age 93, of Wausau, passed away on Monday, April 28, 2025, at Stonecrest Residence in Wausau.

Eunice was a proud graduate of the former Wausau Senior High School, the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She dedicated 36 years to teaching, first at Thomas Jefferson Elementary School and later at John Muir Middle School in Wausau, where she made a lasting impact on her students and the community.

A devoted member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Eunice was an active volunteer and enjoyed participating in Bible studies and the church's Book Club. The Wisconsin tradition of Friday night fish fries was a weekly event that she never missed. Eunie also enjoyed shopping, dining out with friends, and spending time with her church family, loved ones, and relatives.

Survivors include her wonderful friends, especially Mike Duginske, Helen Vance, Beverly and Harold Eisenman, Joyce Nick, Karen Lakus, Nancy Salli, "K" Toth, Joanne Baehman and Helen Ippel. She is further survived by Linda Lawrence and many relatives.

Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, May 14th at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 930 Edgewood Rd, Wausau. Visitation will take place from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the church on Wednesday. Inurnment will take place at Restlawn Memorial Park immediately following the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Wausau.
