James M. Randall

James M. Randall, 89, of Wausau, went home to be with the Lord on August 6. A 1955 graduate and Tophatter at Wausau Senior High School, he followed his father and grandfather into the jewelry business, his work being the unseen guest at countless weddings and a happy gift to the people of his hometown. While serving in the Army Reserves he met and married his wife, Susan, who, with their son Craig, his sister Nancy Schroyer, and sister in law Peggy Chagnon, survive him. An avid ski jumper in his youth, he continued to ski even into retirement age, sailed on Green Bay, and spent time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Hildegard Randall, and as he was a quiet man who chose to stay in the background he requested no services. If, however, you have one of his pieces of jewelry remember the care that was put into it and the beauty that inspired the maker.
