Jane Elizabeth (Kommers) Lynett, 98, of Dearborn died on October 4th, 2019.

Jane was born on June 17, 1921 in Antigo, Wisconsin, the daughter of Anna (Krier) and Alphonse Kommers. Jane worked as a medical records assistant for Wausau Insurance Company and enjoyed playing golf, bridge, swimming and involvement in her Catholic faith. Through most of her life, she was a member of St. James/Church of the Resurrection in Wausau, WI and more recently St. Clement church in Dearborn, MI. After living in Wisconsin for 90 years, she moved to Dearborn, Michigan in 2011. Jane loved the arts and supported the Wausau Woodson Art Museum and frequently attended musical performances including the Wausau and Detroit Symphony Orchestras.

Jane was the beloved wife of the late Robert Francis (Bud) Lynett. Loving mother of Michael (Jeanne) Kommers Lynett, Patricia Ann (James Hanson) Lynett, and Peter Krier (Carolyn) Lynett. Proud grandmother of Robert (Laura) Lynett, Anna (Cameron) Lynett Moss, Michael Lynett, Gordon (Julia) Lynett, and Kathryn (Tony Brown) Lynett and great-grandmother to Elaine Lynett and Julian Lynett.

Preceded in death were sisters Nancy Beattie, Helen Gorman, and brothers Robert Kommers and William Kommers.

A Funeral Mass was celebrated at the Henry Ford Chapel in Dearborn on October 12th.

A Mass with Jane’s special intention will be celebrated at 12:10 pm at the Church of the Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ, located at 621 North 2nd Street in Wausau on November 13th. A visitation will be held at the Brainard Funeral Home, 522 Adams Street, Wausau from 1:30 pm until 4:30 pm on that day, with a prayer service at 3:30 pm.

Burial will take place at Restlawn Memorial Park in Wausau, Wisconsin at 10:00 am on November 14th.
