Janice L Dolmseth

November 7, 1937 — September 3, 2022

Janice Lorraine Dolmseth, age 84, passed away peacefully on September 23, 2022.

She was born November 7, 1937, to Earl and Eunice Dolmseth in San Francisco, California. Janice will be remembered for her terrific sense of humor and never failing to laugh at a knock-knock joke, no matter how terrible it may have been. Everyone who spent time with Janice always left with a smile and a little more kindness in their heart. Janice will also be remembered affectionately by her family as “M.O.G.”, and for her recognizable and timely giggles. Janice had a close bond with her late sister Donna, which was made stronger through all the time they shared together.

Janice is survived by her brother-in-law, Anthony “Tony” Povilaitis. Her nieces, Christine (Scott) Povilaitis, Mosinee, Suzanne (Charles) Luttinen, Verona, Deanna (Adam) Ziebell, Marathon, and Patti (Anthony Jr.) Cordano, St. Paul.

Her great nieces and nephews will also remember Grantie Auntie Janice, Sydney and Jack Povilaitis, Connor and Olivia Ziebell, Bennett, Brooks, and Anders Luttinen.

Janice is preceded in death by her mother and father, Earl and Eunice Dolmseth, her nephew Anthony Povilaitis Jr, and her loving sister Donna Povilaitis.

Janice's family would like to extend their thanks and gratitude to the many individuals who aided in Janice's care throughout her life. Specific thanks would like to be given to Kathy Millbeck and the staff of Tranquility Way for their many years of loving care for Janice. You are all truly angels!

A private memorial will be held at a later date.
