Kathleen Joyce Westberg, age 78, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 7, 2025 with her family by her side.
Kathleen was born on February 18, 1947, in Wausau, the only child of the late Edward and Claudine (Rima) Naughtin. She was united in marriage to Norman Leroy Westberg on June 5, 1965 and together they built a beautiful family, raising four children: Randy, Lisa, Carla, and Tom.
In 1976, Kathleen and Norman built their dream home in the country in Hatley. Kathleen loved the peace of country living, especially watching birds and deer from her sunroom.
A devoted wife, mother, and homemaker, Kathleen poured her love into her family and her home. She shared that same care and dedication with others as a teacher’s aide at various elementary schools in the DC Everest School District. She was also a faithful and active member of New Day Christian Church in Weston, where she and Norman opened their home to lead Bible studies together. Kathleen adored spending time with her grandchildren and enjoyed camping and being in the outdoors.
Kathleen is survived by her children Randy (Kathy) Westberg of Weston, Lisa Meyer of Weston, Carla (Bryan) Wickersheim of Elton and Tom (Stacey) Westberg of Hatley; 13 grandchildren Melissa Westberg, Zack (Mel) Westberg, Jordyn (Josh) Dumdey, Brittany (Colton) Ocker, Devon Meyer, Angie (Vinnie) Propson, Melissa (Corey) Lambert, Bruce (Becca) Wickersheim, Sabrina (Cale) Schultz, Samantha (Dylan) Korvella, Nicholas (Grace) Wickersheim, Austin Westberg and Jake Westberg. She is further survived by 17 great grandchildren Braiden, Damon, Avery, Corbin, Calvin, Oliver, Sutton, Trenton, Audriella, Kailey, Keagan, Blake, Lexi, Ashylnn, Nolan, Emma and Alivia.
Besides her parents, Kathleen was preceded in death by her son-in-law Ken Meyer
