Libby L. Mosher

Libby Mosher, age 88, passed away peacefully at home, on February 10, 2026. 

Libby was born in Antigo, WI to Joseph and Anna (Blatecky) Prochaska on October 19, 1937. Libby married Eugene Mosher of Antigo, Wi on December 1, 1956.

Prior to her retirement, Libby enjoyed owning and managing Mosher Synder Drug store alongside Gene. Much of her and Gene's free time was spent at their lake home on Post Lake tackling home improvement projects and tending to her beautiful gardens. In addition to enjoying quality time with her children and grandchilden, her favorite hobbies included craft projects such as sewing and knitting (which she taught to a few of her grandchilden!). Lastly, she loved playing bridge with her close friends in Wausau for over 50 years. 

Libby is survived by her children Diane (William) Cralley, Mark (Susan) Mosher, Cheryl (Kevin) Loos, Jill (Steve) Kickhaver, and Scott Mosher; 13 grandchildren and 8 great children. 

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Eugene Mosher; two sons, Eugene Mosher Jr. and Curtis (Amy) Mosher; and parents Joseph Prochaska and Anna Prochaska. 

Services for Libby Mosher will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Monday, February 23, 2026, at Brainard Funeral Home, Wausau Chapel, 522 Adams Street, Wausau, WI 54403, with Joy Nelson-Jeffers officiating. Visitation will start at 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. A private burial will follow services.
