Lindsey Coffman, 80, went to be with the Lord on October 31, 2025, at Aspirus Hospital in Wausau, Wisconsin. He was born on January 9, 1945, in Marion, Ohio and was the son of James and Thelma Coffman.
On April 2, 1966, he married his high school sweetheart, Brenda Gorenflo, in Marion, Ohio. They remained married for 58 years until her passing in January 2025. Through the years, they cherished their time together while boating, camping, traveling, and spending winters in Port Charlotte, Florida.
Lindsey was an active outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with the entire family during the holidays and other occasions when everyone could be together.
He was a Vietnam veteran who served in the U.S. Army. After serving his country, he worked as a draftsman/designer. He then founded Nu-Way Engineering Corp. and served as President for 30 years until his retirement.
Survivors include his two sons, Jeff (Lori) Coffman, Tim (Marsha) Coffman, daughter, Lori Coffman, granddaughter, Chloe, step grandson, Jakeb, and step grandson, Ahren. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Thelma Coffman, sister Janice Mahler, brother Bill Coffman, brother Bob Coffman, brother Ralph Coffman, and wife Brenda Coffman.
He loved the Lord Jesus Christ and was a member of Highland Community Church in Wausau, Wisconsin. He was active in church ministries including Sunday school teacher and deacon.
Visitation will be held at Highland Community Church, 1005 N 28th Avenue, Wausau, on Monday, November 10, 2025, from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery at 2:00 pm.
