Michael James Dittner

Michael James Dittner, age 74, of Clintonville, WI, passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at the Little Chute Health Services facility, while under the care of Moments Hospice.

He was born on March 3, 1952, in Marshfield, WI, and was the son to the late John and Beverly (Hauser) Dittner. Michael attended and graduated from high school, before enlisting in the United States Navy, where he bravely served his country for 6 years, until his honorable discharge. He was a proud patriot of America.

Michael was the firstborn male in the family tree. His blonde hair and blue eyes melted everyone's heart. He participated in the Little Stars Square Dance group, where his father was the caller and instructor. He continued square dancing for many years.

He also had a strong interest in war documentaries. His love for chocolate milk will be remembered by many, as will his golden heart.

Memorial service shall be at the King Cemetery on October 6th 2026 at 11:00 am

Michael leaves behind his brother: Jeff (Janice) Dittner, sister: Lauri (Sean) Dittner-Corsten, his nephews and Godsons: CJ Dittner and Kyle (Alyssa) Dittner, nieces: Hannah Dittner, Tasha (Adam) Ludvigsen and Samantha (John) Breister, along with many great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

The family wishes to thank the staff of the Veterans Administration, for their support, as they walked this journey with him. They also want to thank the wonderful and caring staff of Moments Hospice.
