Patricia Krake

Patricia Krake, 88 of Weston, WI passed away on June 23,2026 after a lengthy battle with dementia. She was born on March 13th, 1938, to the late Walter and Clara Kempf.

Patricia graduated from Wausau High School. She married David Krake on May 19th, 1963. Patricia spent most of her adult life as a homemaker, helping to raise the couple's three children. Patricia enjoyed cooking, canning and reading, but her absolute favorite thing to do was to go up to the family cottage near Lake Tomahawk, WI and go fishing.

Survivors include her husband David (Weston, WI), daughter Kelly (Coupland, TX), son Keith (Weston, WI), granddaughters Trista (Dallas, TX) and Kiera (Austin, TX), sisters Ellen Rustad (Rhinelander, WI), Bonnie Fisher (Kronenwetter, WI), Sandy Marquardt (Wausau, WI) and Cathy Szekeress (Schofield, WI).

Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Clara Kempf, son, Kevin Krake, brothers, Marvin Kempf and Donald Kempf, sisters, Carol Hess, Mary Ruplinger and Linda Kempf.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am Monday July 6th at St. Agnes Parish in Weston, WI. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of service. Burial will follow at the parish cemetery.

The family would like to thank the staff at Mount View Care Center in Wausau, WI for the compassion and caring of Patricia in her final years.
