Robert Woodrow Timler, Sr.

Robert Woodrow Timler, Sr., 88, passed away peacefully at Aspirus Wausau Hospital on June 17, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Robert was born in Wausau, Wisconsin on March 20, 1937, son of the late Woodrow and Valeria (Bennett) Timler. Robert married Mary Buck on July 4, 1964.

He was an avid reader with a special fondness for western novels and movies. He also found great joy in spending time outdoors, especially when working on his lawn — a place he took pride in and cared for with dedication.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Mary; his sons, Kenneth and Robert Jr. (Lanette); his daughters, Dianne, Kim (AJ), and Christine; his cherished granddaughter, Jessica; grandchildren Jamie, Curtis Michael, and Peyton; and three great grandchildren.

A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
