Robert L. Woytasik, 87, of Wausau, passed away at home on November 11, 2025.
He was born on March 8, 1938, to the late Philip and Gleora Woytasik. Robert joined the United States Army on October 15, 1961, and served as a medical specialist in Fort Lewis, Washington until he was honorably discharged. On March 7, 1964, Robert married Audrey L. Klug at St. Stephen's Lutheran Church in Wausau. Together, they shared 53 wonderful years of marriage filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Robert had a kind spirit and a love for life's simple pleasures. He was an enthusiastic fan of both baseball and football- cheering faithfully for his beloved Brewers and Packers. Robert also enjoyed his time in a couples bowling league and playing cards with friends and family. Music brought him great joy, especially Polka and Country Western tunes, which often filled his home with warmth and rhythm.
He is survived by his loving daughters, Debra Woytasik, Laura Woytasik, and Sandra (David) Pochinski, all of Wausau; his grandchildren, Jamie Hartson, Jessica (Jon) Gutowski, and Kyle Pochinski; three great-grandchildren, Juliana, Jonathon, and Justice; siblings, Alfred (Janet) Woytasik, Loretta (Lonnie) Aspen, and Louise (Rex) Bentley; sister-in-law, Janet (James) Streblow; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife; his parents; his grandson; Dustin Pochinski; and sister, Leila Day.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, November 17, 2025, at Brainard Funeral Home- Wausau Chapel 522 Adams Street, Wausau. Visitation will take place from 1:00 pm until the time of service at the funeral home. Online condolences may be shared at www.brainardfuneral.com.
