Stanley Carlson

Stanley I. Carlson Jr, age 86, of Wausau passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Tuesday, June 24th at Mountain Terrace.

Stanley was born on November 13, 1938 in Chicago to the late Stanley and Dorothy (Stratton) Carlson Sr. He married his sweetheart, Elizabeth, and had two children, Kim and Paul. He was in the banking business his entire life. After retirement, Stanley and Elizabeth moved to Ogema, WI where they were very active in the community. He was a board member of Camp Forest Springs in Westboro, a past district governor for the Lions Club and a member of the American Legion.

Stanley is survived by his daughter Kim (Marc) Brescia, son Paul (Shari) Carlson, grandsons Brad (Monica) Brescia, Bryan (Kristen) Brescia, Ryan Carlson and Evan Carlson and 5 great grandchildren. He is further survived by his sister Corine De Velasco and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Elizabeth
