Willis Walter Allmandinger (5.30.1929 to 5.1.2026)

Will Allmandinger, 96, passed away in Wausau Wisconsin on May 5, 2026.

Will was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana in 1929. He attended Southside High School, and went onto to attend Purdue University. Will served in the US Army during the Korean War. Will went to work in banking at Lincoln National in Fort Wayne, IN, First National Bank in Neenah, WI as a Vice President in Trust and Estate Planning on to M&I Bank in Marshfield before retiring.

Will was preceded in death by his parents Herman and Zelma Allmandinger, and daughter Amy Allmandinger. He is survived by his son Byron.

Will has been known to friends and acquaintances as an engaging, compassionate, individual who viewed life with optimism, hope, his strong faith and thankfulness.

Donations can be made to St. Vincent DePaul or Habitat for Humanity in Will's name.

An informal celebration service will be held at a later time.
